About Kenny

I am a Bristol based UKCP trainee therapist, group facilitator and social change practitioner. I’m registered with UKCP and ACPP and am currently a Psychotherapist in Training with the Karuna Institute, with previous trainings completed at Re-vision and the Tariki Trust. As well as my developing therapy practice, I am an anthropologist and have over a decade of experience working in social change.

I like to work at the interface between social, cultural and personal change, believing it’s the messy, human and complex inbetween spaces where transformation lies. I am a member of the Climate Psychology Alliance and Work that Reconnects Network. I work one to one, with groups, organisations and systems for a more alive world – working with our deepest personal challenges and suffering from trauma, group and interpersonal dynamics, to our greatest collective challenges such as climate and nature breakdown.

My therapeutic and group work is grounded in my long-term meditation, shamanic and embodied practices, diverse and solid theoretical frameworks, and meeting you authentically where you are. I am a compassionate, grounded, trauma-informed practitioner with my own deeply lived experience and personal journey. Alongside current and former rigorous depth trainings (see below) over many years, I continue to walk my own path of healing and wholeness.

My career has been diverse. As well as my developing private therapy practice, I am also a freelance group facilitator, offer mindfulness sessions, am figuring out being a Dad, and work part-time on social change projects in the not-for-profit sector.

Please get in touch if you would like to work with me or connect.
